Ben Forrer is a Vice President, Production Executive for Media Guarantors. He is a seasoned Physical Production Executive and Executive Producer with nearly two decades of experience in the film and entertainment industry. He has successfully overseen a diverse range of projects, including films, series, and feature animations for major studios, production companies, and bond companies.
Prior to joining, Ben served as the Senior Manager of Physical Production for Original Films at Netflix Studios, where he managed a slate of films from development through delivery. He collaborated closely with internal cross-functional teams and external production teams, holding ultimate responsibility for all aspects affecting the schedule, cost, logistics, and execution of assigned projects.
Prior to his role at Netflix, Ben was the SVP of Physical Production at Walden Media/Anschutz Film Group, where he oversaw all areas of physical production, production finance, post-production, VFX, delivery, risk management, tax incentives, and labor relations. He also served as the Executive Producer for Netflix’s Emmy® winning Kids & Family series, “The Baby-Sitters Club.”
Ben’s extensive experience includes his tenure as Sr. Production Executive at ProSight Specialty Insurance, where he analyzed projects for bonding suitability and maintained zero losses on his slate. He has also held roles at Film Finances, Inc., Cinefinance, and worked as a Freelance Assistant Accountant and Physical Production Coordinator at Walden Media/Anschutz Film Group.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
